Another Great night out
It was another fantastic End of Season dinner!
After a bit of milling about, chatting and drinking, we had a lovely meal. The new Sussex Scuba Divemasters were introduced, made fun of (by Derek) and were awarded the much coveted blue staff shirt! A huge CONGRATULATIONS go to Tom Jackson, Andy Langler and Tom Wilson! Well done boys!
After the blue shirts were donned and photos taken, dessert was served.
Then it was on to the hotly contested photography competition. The standard of photos entered this year was the highest ever..... as were the number of photos entered.
Drum roll please for the 2010 winners:
The junior competition was won by Kelsey Cairns with a classic clown fish and anemone photo.
Best UK Photo went to Helen Netley-Thomson for a lovely shot of a friendly seal.
Best overseas went to Andy Langler (busy night for him!) with a fantastic shot of a liveboard wreck.
Best overall photo and a £50 voucher was won with an amazing photo of a turtle by Rob Crutchington.
The quiz was a close run thing which was won by Jordan Philpott – no wine for him – it was a tub of sweets! First prize in the raffle, which was a meal for 2 at the Three Crowns was won by new DM Tom Jackson (what is it with these new DM’s winning everything?), bottles of wine were won and Jordan Philpott managed to win yet another tub of sweets in the raffle!
Well done to the new Divemasters, the photography competition winners and to all the raffle winners.
A big “Thank you” must go to the Three Crowns for another fantastic dinner – topped off with a disco.
Same place next year? See you there!
