Most of you will probably be thinking.....
You went diving where !!!!????
But diving in Tenerife is very, very good. There is a wide variety of marine life, better than anywhere in the Med. There are a wide range of different morays, trumpetfish, Roncadero's, tuna, boxfish and best of, a huge range of rays, butterfly rays and the spectacular atlantic rays. A spectacular sight.
In addition there is a wide range of sites including wrecks, reefs, swim throughs, caves and caverns. It is a volcanic island and as a result it has a very interesting landscape underwater.
The diving is all year round with water temperatures of 20 - 22 degrees in the summer and over 17 in the winter. Visibility is excellent with rarely less than 20m. So don't knock it .... Try it
