Brilliant Location !!
Shame about the weather
Going diving on the first
week end in June the expectation is that
you will have good weather !!! Not so !!
The diving off the Pembroke course is extremely
good with a very wide range of sites of
all types including over 40 wrecks. The
location is superb and despite the fairly
mixed weather we all had a great time both
in and out of the water.
Broadhaven is a little remote to say the
least, but it does have an excellent range
of pubs and restaurants which helped to
make the weekend memorable. We had planned
to have a barbecue at the lodges own patio
and barbecue area but the weather put paid
to that. The dive lodge itself is absolutely
superb and we will definitely visit again
next year when we hope there will be better
vis and better weather.
Highlight of the weekend has to be Derek
coming up from a dive with a very very wet
drysuit, and no change of clothes, resulting
in him wearing a combination of the various
dry clothes available from the women on
the boat all smaller than him. Unfortunately
there are no pictures to prove this
