Fantastic wrecks, great reefs.....
and even better fish & chips Bridport is a very pretty and traditional fishing village. For the telly addicts amongst you, you may recognise it better as the village used in Harbour Lights, a recent television series. (Don't know what it was about as I didn't see it. Running a dive business takes time you know!!)
Anyway we arrived on Friday afternoon and after the usual standing around and reflecting 4 of us decided to get an early evening dive in. We dived a fairly shallow reef called Pollack Rock. The dive was good but the vis was a bit poor. It could only get better.
It did, during the weekend we dived a variety of well known sites including the Baygitano, an excellent wreck at 25m, the St Dunstans an even better wreck at 30m, and a few excellent shallower reffs. All the dives were very good though the visibility was a bit mixed. An excellent week end though with good weather and excellent company.
The pictures aren't great and don't the diving justice. The photographer had a bad flash day |
