skill. Dry suit diving is very different
to using a wet suit and presents its
own challenges. It is very important
that you learn these skills properly

Whilst it is undoubtedly very exciting

Underwater Naturalist |
As with fish ID it really helps with
the enjoyment of a dive if you know
what the various forms of plant and
coral life are around you. Learn to
identify various plant and coral life
and help to preserve it. |

Drift Diver |
Drift diving is both relaxing and
exciting! Drifting at high speeds
with the current with little or no
finning. Learn the particular types
of entry required to make sure the
group stays together

| Spec008 |
Search and Recovery |
Can be very useful in recovering lost
items such as speed boat engines!! (not
an uncommon occurrence). Also if you
enjoy wrecks, and it is legal to do
so, it is helpful to know how to safely
lift very heavy items off the bottom. |

Navigation Diver |
Learn to navigate not only with a compass
but also by looking at the signs on
the seabed (and above). Remember you
cannot just pop up if you get a bit
confused about your whereabouts !! |

Nitrox Diver |
Rapidly becoming a standard course
and not a speciality. Learn the basics
of mixed gas diving. This is the
course to help in extending dive times
and shortening recovery times. Allows
more repetitive dives to be completed,
safely. A "must do" course |

New Digital Underwater Photography |
This is a brand new course to enable you to get the most from your digital camera. It is a basic 2 stage introduction. Part one covers taking photos with a point and shoot camera, while part 2 looks at enhancement and cataloguing |
