| Looking
for wrecks or dives sites beyond 18m?
Do you want a more extensive knowledge
of diving theory?
Mention a "deep dive" amid a group
of divers and watch their reactions. Novice
divers who have yet to venture below 18m
want to know what it's like. More experienced
divers who have been a bit deeper chatter
with excitement. Those who have trained
to prepare themselves to venture to 40m
(the recommended deepest limit of recreational
diving), show enthusiasm tempered with respect
for the serious nature of safe deeper diving.
At any rate, there's certainly something
a bit alluring, exciting and mysterious
about going "deep".
