| This course is aimed at people who have
rarely used snorkel, mask and fins, who
want to learn properly, usually before they
go on an exotic holiday to Egypt, Maldives,
or the Caribbean, for example. If this is
you then this course is for you......
Of course anyone can teach themselves how
to use the equipment, the purpose of this
simple course is to make the process easier
so that you enjoy the holiday and the diving
rather than concentrating on learning some
of the skills. After all no-one goes skiing
without learning on a dry slope !! |

During the course we teach
you correct use of the equipment including
how to de-fog your mask (the single biggest
cause of spoiled dives), finning techniques,
correct entry into the water (so that you
don't fall over or lose your equipment !
) and finally correct surface diving techniques
to allow you to free-dive to get closer
to that turtle !!
On a final point we can also help you to
select the most appropriate mask and fins
for you. They are not all the same !! |
