| This course is the ultimate preparation for the Rescue Course. Everyone know you need EFR or equivalent to take part in the Rescue course, but this really hones your general first aid skills, as well as diver specific oxygen provision, which will ultimately result in a rescue diver with very high skill levels, and who is therefore better able to assist an injured diver |
| The ultimate preparation for the Rescue Diver course !
In order to take part in the Rescue Diver course every diver needs to have complete an EFR (Emergency First Responder) or equivalent course. We have put together a package that not only covers that but also includes DAN 02 provider and the DAN AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) course. As a result a diver is even better prepared to assist an injured diver |

This course is classroom based. On the first day we work through both modules of the EFR course, that is Primary and Secondary care. This covers key aspects for any first aid course eg
- Scene assessment
- Use of barriers
- Monitoring the patients lifeline (ABCD'S)
- Injury and illness assessment
- Bandaging and splinting
On the second day we complete the DAN 02 Provider Course followed by a by the DAN AED (Automatic External Defibrillator). As a result of completing these three modules the diver is very well equipped not only to attend the Rescue diver course , but also to help an injured diver suspected of any form DCI
