DAN offers several dive-specific first aid training programmes. - details of which can be found on other pages. Because these courses are often taught independently, there is repetitive information and skills. The Diving First Responder Course allows DAN Instructors to offer an integrated course that allows divers to learn and practice the information and skills in DAN Training Programmes, with a significant saving in time, (and money!) but without sacrificing any skills or knowledge

This course covers all the skills for the associated individual modules as follows:

• DAN Oxygen Provider
• DAN Advanced Oxygen Provider
• Hazardous Marine Life Injuries (HMLI)
• Automatic External Defibrillator

Some elements are included in every course (eg who are DAN and elements of physiology) and this is obviously only covered once in this course. As a result this is a very comprehensive programme that covers in detail a wide range of oxygen provision and first aid procedures that equips students to provide a high degree of support to divers with minor and serious life threatening conditions
